5/15/2014 - Saddle Creek Phase 3 Progress Update - Greg Windingland
Last fall, we were not able to continue with the grading for road construction due to wet soils. Mostly just because of rain fall hampering the efforts and the need to work with relatively dry soil. With all the underground utilities installed, except the road edge drain, we halted work until spring, hoping for a mild spring. Look how well that has turned out for us!!! Over the winter, we constructed the boardwalk. If you’ve not had a chance for a close look, it turned out great. Probably around mid-June (weather dependent), we will return to resume the road construction and finish the remainder of phase III construction. Subject to change, but the sequence will likely be 1) Pontiac Trail right of way work, 2) internal road construction, 3) entrance wall, fence and landscaping improvements (simultaneous with internal road construction), 4) final grading of lots and vegetation of right of way areas.

12/6/2017 - New Quarterly Dues Notice - HOA Board
Hi Everyone,
By now you should have all received the letter from Briden Management with details about the new lower yearly dues and how they will be collected. If you haven't received the letter yet, it should arrive in the next day or so and if not, there's a copy attached below.
We are going to hold a short, informal meeting, at the South Lyon Hotel at 8PM next Monday, December 11th. It will be held in the Oak Room in the upstairs portion of the restaurant. We'll go over contract renewals, answer any budgetary questions, and can address anything else you want to talk about.
Sorry for the short notice, but we have all been extremely busy and this was the only time we were all available.
Hope to see you all there!

4/27/2017 - Printed directory opt-out - May 15th deadline - HOA Board
Hello everyone,
It has come to the board's attention that a contract organized by our previous management company was signed in 2015 in support of a printed homeowners directory. The length of the contract is 3 years. One directory was mailed out last year, leaving two remaining. The contract can not be cancelled without some very steep monetary consequences due to the fact that the directory is paid for by selling advertisements that it contains. The directory is to be distributed only to current Saddle Creek residents.
The new board recognizes that many of you do not want your personal information disclosed and are therefore requesting that the printing company only include information of public record. This includes only the name of the homeowner and the resident address. We will ask that they remove any other information such as phone number and email addresses that were previously published.
As I was putting together our electronic directory, I had a handful of people who asked me to keep their information completely private. Based on this, we would like to offer the chance for any resident to opt-out of the directory all together. Please send me an email (
